Anglia Drum Centre supports drum tutors from all over the Norfolk and Suffolk areas, including all their students. In addition, we have our very own teaching room at our Norwich Showroom and support Back-Beat Drum Tuition based at Scotts Yard Ber Street. We work together with drum teachers to help provide a reliable, efficent service, and to help students acheive their goals.

Tom Eagle (Instore)

Tom is a 28 year old professional drummer, tutor and co-founder of Back-Beat Drum Tuition. He has been playing drums since the age of 10 and teaching since the age of 21. Tom teaches beginner to advanced players, as well as putting most students through the Rock school Syllabus, for which his students have gained a 100% pass rate. Many of his students go on to higher education, with past students attending Drumtech, Guilford Academy of Contemporary Music and Access to Music Colleges. As a player, Tom counts funk, reggae, world and jazz as his preferred styles. Tom currently plays drums for Zimbabwean singer Anna Mudeka, is a busy freelance player and a member of the Vic Firth Education Team.

Simon Dring (Instore)

I have been teaching drums professionally for 15 years and currently work at Norwich School where I give about 20 lessons each week. Topics covered include technique, rudiments, coordination, music reading, improvisation, groove, timekeeping and kit maintenance/set-up. Styles taught include rock, pop, blues, funk, jazz, motown, world, hip-hop, R&B, show and many others. Many of my pupils have taken graded drum-kit exams from LCM and Rockschool syllabuses. A lot of them play in local gigging bands.

I offer one-to-one drum lessons instore, at Norwich. I cover all levels of players, from beginners to advanced, and all lessons are tailored to the individual's needs. Get in touch for details. MU Member and Full Enhanced CRB checked.

Bob Fuller

Bob is a professional drummer, with over 25 years experience. He teachers all styles, from beginners to advanced. He teaches at our Gorleston premises on; Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Bob is also available to travel to pupil's houses, travels between the boundaries of Beccles and Caister, mainly teaching in Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft.

Craig Bacon

Craig has been playing drums since the age of three, learning mostly by ear, playing to old records in his parents loft. He performed his first gig aged 11 and never looked back since, working hard and eventually becoming a professional musician. John Owen

John is currently teaching in the Norfolk market town of Dereham and its surrounding area. John began playing drums in the summer of 1993 and over the years has played worldwide and in a variety of different musical settings, including Pop/Rock outfits, a variety of successful function bands, Brass, Wind and Marching bands and has also performed on TV and Radio.

John holds a degree in Music and is also a fully qualified secondary school music teacher, with experience of working in primary schools. John has been CRB checked and certified.
