Pearl Masters MCX Maple (22" Fusion, 20" Fusion or 22" Rock)

The new Masters Custom MCX features the same 6 ply Maple shells, lugs and MasterCast Die-Cast Hoops as its big-brother MRP Masters Premium. All the toms come with Remo heads. The bass drum comes complete with an Remo Powerstroke 3 Ebony on the front. The Masters Custom Series also features Pearl's legendary SST construction process that uses extreme heat, precision cut scarf joints, our proprietary Acoustiglue and over 1000lbs of hydraulic pressure to create the ultimate acoustic air chamber. Three different shell packs are available (plus other special orders): 10"x8", 12"x9", 14"x14" Floor Tom, 22"x18" Bass Drum. 10"x8", 12"x9", 14"x14" Floor Tom, 20"x18" Bass Drum. 12"x9", 13"x10", 16"x16" Floor Tom, 22"x18" Bass Drum. Tama Starclassic Birch & Bubinga (22" Fusion)

The distinct and traditional sound of birch has made it the choice of many pro drummers for last thirty years, and all evidence indicates it will do so for at least another thirty. But Tama believes in taking birch in an entirely different direction. By using bubinga wood for the inner layers of a birch shell, Tama has created a new chapter in the Starclassic series. This mixture of birch and bubinga has created a new sound with a sweeter and deeper tone, which exhibits the focused attack of birch paired with the enhanced lows of bubinga. In the '80s TAMA's Superstar and Imperialstars reigned supreme - the perfect drums for the times. But TAMA's builders and designers wanted something that transcended trends, something timeless - drums that "understood" a player's passion and allowed the expression of every genre, style, mood, and technique. They created Starclassic Maple...and ignited the thin-shell revolution. All Maple Shells - TT / FT: 5mm, 6ply, BD: 7mm, 7ply.

Tama Starclassic Bubinga (Special Order)

The next phase in the Starclassic series – Starclassic Bubinga. Starclassic Bubinga shells are slightly thicker than those in Tama's Starclassic Maple series. Their builders concluded that a slightly thicker Bubinga shell brought out the best characteristics of the wood: a more aggressive attack, a fuller, a deep/dark tone and a more powerful resonance. Like Starclassic Maple, Tama offer numerous options to meet the professional drummer's wide and critical needs. There are more than 50 different shell sizes. The use of Maple for the outer-ply enables Tama to offer 14 different shell finishes. In addition, they now offer a beautiful Natural Cordia finish featuring an outer ply of Cordia wood. Starclassic Bubinga also features three shell hardware finishes to choose from: Black Nickel, Brushed Nickel and Chrome.
